Summer Camp

A full-day camp offering exclusively for children aged 3 through 5. Children will experience all the fun of a traditional day camp in a structured and safe environment. Specialized on-site entertainment is scheduled almost daily and lunch is provided at no additional cost every day of the week.

Little Knights - Theme Weeks (2024)

Ages: 3 – 5 year old’s (must be 3 by 12/31/2023); Campers must be toilet-trained (Strictly Enforced!)

Where: Crystal Lake Elementary School (59 South Road)

When:  June 24th – August 16th (Exception: closed July 4th & 5th for the holiday)

Time: 9AM - 4PM

Cost: $215/week (Exception: Week of July 4th → $135; Non-Resident → + $20) 
           Early Bird Discount (before June 1): $195/week (Exception: Week of July 4th - $115)

Our department recognizes the importance of offering this essential service and the need for the youth in our community to interact with their peers over the summer break. The Ellington Day Camp has been active for over thirty-five consecutive years. Through the years, our youth have taken part in many fun and exciting activities including sports, arts and crafts, games, STEM activities, community service projects and other special events. We look forward to continuing this tradition of summer fun!

Give your pre-teen or teen the freedom they crave by enrolling them in this fun, safe and supervised local travel experience based camp! Each day participants will be transported by bus or charter to the most sought after field trip venues throughout southern New England and upon arrival, participants will experience all the venue has to offer under the watchful eyes of our most experienced counselors. Trips include, Six Flags, Lake Compounce, Sonny's Place and much more!

Adventure Awaits - Sample Schedule (2024)

Ages: Entering 6th grade - 8th grade                                                                                                       

Where: Drop off and pick up @ Ellington Middle School (46 Middle Butcher Rd)                       

When: July 8th - 12th

Time: 8:30AM - 4PM (End time subject to change based on scheduled trips)

Cost: $315/week
