Ellington School Facilities
The Recreation Department utilizes the Ellington Public Schools as often as possible for many programs. The schools offer use of gym space for such activities as basketball, volleyball, as well as other indoor programs. The schools also allow space usage for softball and baseball fields during the season.

Take 84E to Exit 67. Turn left at bottom of the exit. Go for about mile to intersection of Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. Go for about 5 or 6 miles on Route 30. Follow signs for Route 20. Road take a sharp left (light at left turn Landmark Leonards Veterinary on corner). Stay on Route 30 until intersection of 140. Turn right at 4 way stop, go straight up hill, Crystal Lake School is about mile up on right hand side. Brick Building.

1-84. Get off exit 66; proceed up the road towards rt. 30; turn right onto rt. 30; take immediate left onto west road (Vernon police dept. on your left). Follow past Garden Barn, Walgreens, and Big Y. Turn left onto Main Street (Light where Kloter Farms and Valero are located) Center School is about mile down the road on the right.
Windermere Elementary/Intermediate

From 1-84. Take Exit 64/65 (Rt. 83 and Vernon Center) Drive north on Rt. 83 (also called Talcottville Road) for about 1 mile (approximately 6 traffic lights) Turn left onto Dart Hill Road (Panda Palace is on the left/ Dairy Mart on your right). Drive about mile on Dart Hill Road. At first stop sign, turn right onto Skinner Road. Drive about mile on Skinner Road. (Skinner Road School on your right). At the third stop sign you are at 5 corners. (Note: A gas station is on the right/ Cumberland Farms is on the left). Do not take the sharp left, but take the second left on to Windsorville Road. (Dzens Market will be on your right) Take a right onto Abbott Road, Windermere School is located between Abbott Road and Windsorville Road.

From 1-84E Take Exit 66 (Tunnel Road) At the end of the exit, take a left. At the stop sign, take a left. AT the light, take a right. Take the first left (Vernon Police Dept. on your left) onto West Road. Go straight through 2 lights at 3rd light, take a right onto Middle Butcher Road, go to stop sign, Ellington Middle School is a tenth of a mile on your left

Follow the above directions for the Ellington Middle School from 1-84, Rte 83, when you get to the traffic light at Scottys Daycare, continue instead of turning up middle butcher. Follow 83 past big y and Kloter Farms. At the next traffic light (Enfield Federal Bank) take a left onto Maple Street, Ellington High School is mile on your right.
